She is back by request of Cubanarama to help assist in the search of “QUICK” a 7 year old male Chocolate Lab who went missing in Bay Shore, NY during the snow storm. He got out of his yard at 11 pm on Friday 2/8, near the South Shore Mall and Sunrise Highway. There were 4 labs who got out together but luckily 3 were found and returned to their dad. Just Quick is still missing. QUICK is a very friendly and sweet boy who loves everyone – 2 legged and 4 legged. If you have seen Quick, please call Tara 631-682-3697 or Mellie 631-383-8903. QUICK is microchipped and was wearing his collar. His tags may have fallen off, we are not sure. So far the family has alerted Islip & Babylon shelters, posted on Craigslist, put up fliers at the 3rd Precinct in Bay Shore, both fire houses, supermarkets, gas stations, delis, pizzerias and the post office. They have gone door to door in the area he was lost but no one has seen him. Quick’s family are hoping a kind person took him in during the storm and just hasn’t seen their fliers or facebook posts yet. Please share this page everywhere so we can get our boy home! Please help the family bring “Quick” home!
There is a $1200 REWARD for QUICK’S return

“A few years ago at Gardiner’s, Quick got spooked when my friend’s pittie ran toward him. He jumped over the bulkhead into the bay. Mary and I almost dove in after him but of course he was a great swimmer. Labs love water. Early this afternoon, he was found in the same bay, on the Fire Island side. He took one last swim. Matt is bringing him off the beach now. It’s him. He’s gone. He’s with my mom again. I’m sorry. Thank you all for your help and trying so hard.”
