Bronx News, January 2 headlines written by David Green reads: As the heartbroken family buried their their loved one, run over on the day after Christmas, it was learned that NYPD detectives may have found surveillance video of the crime, but police can not observe the video until the Department of Education employee comes back from holiday vacation. Investigators say Josbel Rivera, 23, was crossing Mosolu Parkway at Paul Avenue in the Norwood section when he was run down and left for dead at the side of the road. Police would shutdown the busy roadway for several hours after the crash, which took place at 4:30 a.m., on December 26. Rivera was apparently crossing north, inside the cross-walk, when he was struck and his body thrown more than 20 feet, as the auto sped past De Witt Clinton High School, towards both the entrance to the Henry Hudson Parkway and the Major Deegan.
