Internationally renowned, Sandy, ”La Loba” formerly known as “La Chica del Reggae” has combined the sounds of her Colombian heritage with a reggaeton flavor, to produce an irresistibly unique Latin-Caribbean sound.  Born in Barranquilla, Colombia August 29th, a “Virgo” who was raised in Miami   Sandy started singing at an early age of 14 in her church choir and recorded her first Christian songs at the age of 17.  In 1990, Sandy ”La Loba” started singing Spanish reggae along with her sister “rosy” and formed the musical group, “Las Chicas del Reggae”.   After Rosy left the group, Sandy continued her solo career until 1998. Sandy shared her talent with recognize artist during this time, such as “El General” and “El Mexicano”, artists that started the reggaeton gender.  Based in Miami, recording artist, composer and seasoned entertainer, Sandy ”La Loba” is well known for her hit single “pum pum papi papi” released in September 1997 “Reggae Spices” under the Hush label.  Equally at ease in English or Spanish, Sandy created a sensation in Santo Domingo, Mexico, Aruba and throughout the Caribbean.  After a long and deserve break due to health reasons, Sandy returned to south Florida with a new and catchy reggaeton sound ready to take the music industry by storm.  In addition to catering to Florida’s and the Caribbean top private parties, ”La Chica del Reggae” has been selected to headline the annual cultural evening for the Tennessee Williams School of the Arts, the Miami Jazz Festival and south Florida’s major reggae and Latin festivals.  ”La Loba” was chosen to be the opening act for the international artist,”El General” at the Cameo Theater in Miami Beach.  Headlined Miss Puerto Rican USA beauty pageant, won “El Chacal” singing contest in Sabado Gigante, inaugurated the “town and country mall” in Kendall and the Brickell Bridge”.  She has also acted as an extra in the comedy movie ”The Pest” starring John Leguizamo.
